Grace Church believes God has given every believer gifts, talents, and interests which contribute to building His kingdom. Serving alongside others in an area you're passionate about fulfills God's purpose for your life—and helps you become a part of God's work through Grace Church.

Serving Opportunities

  • Family Ministries

    • Build into the lives of our children through any of the family ministries at Grace: KidZone (ages 0-10), AWANA (3yrs -6th grade), or Paradox (11-18 yrs).

  • Weekend Services Support

    • There are many support roles that contribute to our weekend services: Greeter, Program Attendant, Bookstore Attendant, Coffee Cart Attendant, Chair Patrol (stocking chair backs with envelopes and pens), and Check-In Attendant.

  • Care Ministries

    • As we care for one another, we exhibit the love of God through ministries like Angel Food (preparing meals), Grace in Touch (sending cards), Care Team Help (assembling groceries for the needy), and Hospital Visitation.

  • Buildings and Grounds

    • Keep Grace clean and beautiful! Landscaping, Mid-week Handyman & Janitorial, and Snow Removal volunteers are needed.

  • Special Events

    • This team helps with cooking, serving and set-up of the many special events at Grace.

  • Technical/Media

    • This team helps provide a dynamic worship experience through Camera Tech, Recording Tech, Slide Tech, Sound Tech, and Stage crew.

  • Front Office

    • Support the ministry of Grace Church by serving as a Front Desk Attendant, or through Data Entry or Program Assembly.

  • Worship Arts

    • Lead the congregation in worship through the Worship Band, Photography, Video, Art, Creative Media, or Choir.  For more information on Creative Arts, join the Grace Collective Group on Facebook by clicking here.

How do I get started?

We offer the chance to "shadow" various ministry opportunities to find out if a particular area of service fits your gifting and interests. This is a "no strings attached" opportunity to check out a ministry. Try as many as you like before deciding.

Who can participate?

Anyone who desires to participate in Grace's mission of fulfilling the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:34-40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) can participate.

When can I serve?

Some opportunities take place only during the week; others may take place during weekend services. In addition some may occur weekly, monthly, as a part of a rotation, or only on an as needed or once-in-a-while basis.

Where can I serve?

Generally at the church, but some opportunities may take place away from the church campus.
There's no commitment or obligation in signing up for a churchServe—it may take you a few tries to find just the right fit…and that's okay!
